I have a multi-disciplinary background. I began in the classroom, middle school language arts, and loved it for decades. Along the way, I also earned an MBA, thinking I might want to leave the confines of the classroom and join the “real world.” Earned an MBA, (class of ‘86!) but earning an MBA was not the career answer I hoped it would be. Back to the classroom for another 14 years; the urge to change careers persisted. After enlightening sessions with a professional career counselor, I discovered my Act ll! I feel fortunate to have spent by life in two careers that have provided me with a great deal of career satisfaction.

As a career counselor, I have worked for a global outplacement firm, presented at national conferences, written for healthcare newsletters, and taught at the graduate level at various colleges and universities in Northern California.

My open energetic style, years of experience and knowledge in many industries help clients understand their many skills, strengths, and interests. To their amazement, their story is translated into focused, keyword optimized resumes and cover letters with a professional look and voice, also able to pass ATS platforms.
